About The Position

This dynamic law firm is seeking an experienced Biotech Patent Agent from a top U.S. law firm with a superb biotechnology and life sciences background. Professional Growth: You will have the opportunity to collaborate with multiple partners across various offices and work on patent matters other than just Prep & Pros. Firm provides a high level of mentorship and training within a collegial environment. Multiple locations are available, Responsibilities: Respond to U.S. office actions with the USPTO Conduct prior art and freedom-to-operate searches for patentability and freedom-to-operate analysis Draft high-quality U.S. patent applications Be an integral member of the team and invest in attorneys with both mentorship and professional growth Qualifications: Ideal candidates will have a Biology-related PhD Must be eligible for USPTO admissions Superior academic credentials required Outstanding writing ability is required 3+ years of top law firm patent prosecution experience in a broad range of biology applications which may include molecular and cellular biology, Genetics, and/or Immunology. Anticipated Base Salary Range The anticipated base salary range is $120,000-160,000 per year. Actual salary will depend on several factors including but not limited to qualifications, job-related skills, and relevant experience. Requirements
