About The Position

The Biostatistician/AI data scientist I will assist senior team members in performing statistical analyses and developing automated workflows for federal public health and life sciences projects. This role emphasizes foundational biostatistical skills combined with emerging technologies such as GenAI and automation.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree is required
Minimum TWO (2) years of relative experience
Basic proficiency in R, SQL, and Python for data analysis.
Understanding of regression modeling and descriptive statistics.
Understanding of GenAI and other emerging technologies
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment

Nice To Haves

Master's degree
Experience with version control tools (e.g., GitHub).
Experience with AI and machine learning for data analytics
Exposure to GenAI tools and automation frameworks.
Familiarity with public health datasets and analytic standards.

Responsibilities

Support development and execution of statistical analyses under supervision.
Assist in creating automated workflows and reproducible reports using R Markdown and Python.
Contribute to data cleaning, preparation, and visualization tasks.
Collaborate with senior biostatisticians and epidemiologists on project deliverables.
Learn and apply GenAI tools for enhancing analytic efficiency.
