The Biostatistical Consultant works under general direction to provide statistical consultation for faculty, staff, and students at UT Southwestern. This position is essential for academic research, particularly for investigator-initiated research. The consultant will collaborate with research and analytic teams to complete clinical, population-based, and health services research for clinician investigators at UTSW, guided by Drs. Arthur Hong and Joshua Liao. The role involves utilizing administrative claims, electronic health records, and disease registry databases to address questions about clinical care delivery, quality, and outcomes of care. Candidates must have experience with statistical software such as SAS, STATA, R, or Python.
