About The Position

The Associate Account Executive (AAE) – biosimilars, builds and manages the business relationship between the company and assigned accounts with the following goals: Negotiate profitable contracts and improve formulary access positions for Organon's biosimilars, while ensuring product access is aligned to strategy and pricing authority. Optimize Net Sales, Contract Performance and pull through across the biosimilar portfolio. Ensure proper oversight and compliance with all company policies and exercising appropriate financial stewardship.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree required, Advanced degree preferred (PharmD, ARNP, MSN, MBA).
  • High learning agility and ability to quickly understand new concepts.

  • Executive presence and influence.
  • Recent Business Sales, Account Management, or relevant health care experience is preferred; however prior industry experience is not required.
  • Organon employees must be able to satisfy all applicable travel and credentialing requirements, including associated vaccination prerequisites.

Responsibilities

  • The AAE is responsible for building trust and credibility with Senior Leaders in their assigned accounts by demonstrating in-depth knowledge of the customer's business, priorities and needs.
  • The AAE serves as the Company’s primary point of contact for their assigned accounts and is responsible for identifying and advancing business opportunities with their customers.
  • Targeted accounts assigned by the National Director may include: Integrated Delivery Networks and Hospital Systems; Community Oncology Clinics and Physician Owned-Infusion Centers and Federal accounts: Veterans’ Affairs and Military Treatment Facilities
  • The AAE routinely monitors territory and account performance and acts with a sense of urgency on opportunities and performance outliers.
  • The AAE develops strategic and tactical account plans for assigned accounts focused in three core areas: Economic: Persuasively presenting GPO pricing programs and budget impact models to healthcare leaders with emphasis on pharmacy and supply chain. Contract negotiations and quarterly business reviews with contracted accounts. Attainment of gross and net sales targets, combined with achieving annual budget and expense management goals.
  • Operational: Confirming customer contracts are properly loaded to provide the appropriate pricing to the eligible sites of care. Communicates product access and provides direction for contract pull through with overlay Field-Based Employees (FBEs) for assigned accounts. Leads account planning and pull through efforts for assigned accounts and manages ongoing communications to extended Team, including account coordination and access facilitation with FBEs that have overlapping contacts. Promotes assigned products along continuum of care using approved messages and resources.
  • Clinical: Communicate to customers the clinical value proposition for assigned products using approved messages and resources. Appropriately use approved Company resources to meet customer educational needs. Strong collaboration and coordination of customer engagements with Medical Affairs and Biosimilar Account Specialists.
