Your potential is our inspiration. Where You'll Make a Difference Conduct research projects in areas such as microbial strain construction and protein engineering. Apply high-throughput screening techniques to accelerate discovery. Work with cell culture systems to support experimental workflows. Explore biocatalysis and crystallography for innovative solutions. Develop analytical methods, including mass spectrometry. Participate in fermentation and bioprocess development and optimization. Evaluate formulation materials and processes for improved performance. Document experimental results, analyze data, and present findings. Collaborate across interdisciplinary teams to drive scientific progress.

Requirements

  • Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in Molecular Biology, Microbiology, Biochemistry, Chemical Engineering, Bioengineering, or a related field.
  • Completion of at least sophomore year and continuing education in the Fall.
  • Familiarity with basic laboratory techniques in relevant areas.
  • Ability to work effectively in an interdisciplinary scientific setting.
  • Strong initiative and ability to thrive in a team environment.
  • Exceptional skills for bench-top experimental work and use of analytical instrumentation.
  • Competence in documenting results, analyzing data, and communicating conclusions.
  • Detail-oriented and committed to high-quality work.

  • Demonstrated creativity in problem-solving and experimental design.
  • Experience with advanced analytical tools or specialized techniques.
