About The Position

The Biomedical Tech II position is responsible for maintaining medical-related equipment, which includes repair, preventive maintenance, and ensuring electrical safety. This role is crucial for ensuring patient and staff safety, correct diagnosis for medical providers, and compliance with the Environment of Care.

Requirements

• Associate's degree in Biomedical Equipment Technology or Electronics Engineering.
• In lieu of degree, equivalent Military Biomed Tech Program or two years equivalent experience in Healthcare Technology Management (HTM) field or industry recognized Certification (AAMI / ACI CBET, CRES, CLES).
• Two years of HTM experience required.
• If no degree, four years of total experience required.

Responsibilities

• Maintain medical related equipment including repair and preventive maintenance.
• Ensure electrical safety of medical equipment.
• Ensure patient and staff safety.
• Support correct diagnosis for medical providers.
