Guidehouse Digital, Inc. is searching for a business analyst for genomics analysis software and other products in a biomedical research environment at the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Disease (NIAID) in the National Institutes of Health (NIH). This opportunity is a full-time position with Guidehouse and is on site in Rockville, MD. The business analyst will primarily work within a multidisciplinary team dedicated to the development and extension of a human genomics research program with a focus on patient genomic data. The role may also provide business analyst services to other biomedical software projects. The role will serve as an integral member of the team consisting of informatics scientists, software developers, and scientific researchers and clinicians. The role will report to and support the product owner and will also have responsibilities matrixed with a software development team and project manager. The role will involve gathering and documenting requirements from a diverse group of system users including researchers and clinical staff, and bioinformatics subject matter experts. The role will assist with planning and organizing project activities including: capturing requirements and acceptance criteria, tracking and validating deliverables in a product backlog; and performing other administrative management duties under the direction of the product owner.
