The Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency (DARPA) is looking for a highly skilled and motivated candidate to support the conceptualization, development, and execution of cutting-edge DARPA programs in the areas of advanced biomedical sensors and systems, medical devices, machine learning (ML) and artificial intelligence (AI) for biomedical applications, physiological modeling, and digital twin technologies. This role requires the candidate to provide technical expertise in ML and AI for biomedical applications, including time-series analysis, medical imaging, and predictive modeling. You'll support the development of physiological models and digital twin frameworks for personalized medicine and predictive healthcare. You'll conduct technical assessments of proposals, performers, and deliverables to ensure alignment with program goals and technical rigor, and monitor and evaluate the progress of funded research programs, providing feedback and recommendations to program managers. You'll identify emerging trends and opportunities in biomedical engineering, AI, and digital health to inform future program directions, and facilitate collaboration between DARPA, academic institutions, industry partners, and government stakeholders. You'll also prepare technical reports, briefings, and presentations to communicate program progress and outcomes.
