About The Position

Biomedical Low Voltage Tech Full Time, First Shift – M-F 7a-3:30p An occasional weekend shift may be required and on-call once every 6 weeks The Low Voltage Technician transports mobile medical equipment. Services non-medical equipment and/or systems. Services some medical equipment designated as “No PM Required”. Services some battery operated and non-powered medical equipment. Services some medical equipment such as warmers and pneumatic systems.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma/GED - three years' experience in the technical, electronic or electrical field can be substituted for degree
  • Valid Driver’s License
  • One year experience in technical, electronic, or electrical experience

Responsibilities

  • Repairs Nurse Call Systems and performs Nurse Call Pillow Speaker Repair.
  • Services battery operated equipment such as thermometers, UPS systems, suction regulators, scales, lifts as well as TV’s, TV distribution system and paging system.
  • Services magnetic door locks and access control.
  • Assures safety inspections are up to date before equipment is re-distributed.
  • Documents work performed and any significant performance data.
  • Maintains and modifies PAR levels for assigned equipment areas.
