About The Position

The Biomedical Laboratory Equipment Repair Technician is responsible for performing calibration, preventative maintenance, inspection, and repair of laboratory equipment. This includes working with various brands of chemistry analyzers such as Beckman Coulter, Olympus AU series, Roche, Abbott, Hitachi, and Siemens. The technician will ensure that all equipment is functioning correctly and efficiently to support laboratory operations.

Requirements

• Associates Degree in Electronics Engineering, Biomedical Electronics, or a related major.
• 1 year of experience as a biomedical equipment repair technician working on Beckman Coulter/Olympus AU series Chemistry analyzers and DI water systems.
• Alternatively, 3 years of experience as a medical equipment repairer, with at least 1 year of experience as a biomedical equipment repair technician working on Beckman Coulter/Olympus AU series Chemistry analyzers and DI water systems.

Responsibilities

• Perform calibration of laboratory equipment.
• Conduct preventative maintenance on laboratory equipment.
• Inspect laboratory equipment for functionality and safety.
• Repair laboratory equipment including Beckman Coulter, Olympus AU series, Roche, Abbott, Hitachi, and Siemens chemistry analyzers.
