About The Position

Sodexo HTM has an exciting opportunity for eager & willing candidates who is interested in joining the healthcare profession for Regional West Medical Center located in Scottsbluff, NE. Sodexo's HTM division has an exciting opportunity for those interested in joining the healthcare profession. We are hiring employees into our Biomed Trainee program. The program contains courses that provide theoretical and technical training related to the Biomedical Technology Industry. Through a combination of on-the-job training and formal training, a Biomed Trainee can become skilled in the industry. Working in Healthcare Technology Management for Sodexo, you will partner with our Healthcare clients to manage their clinical technology needs. Together, we provide leadership and expertise for their business, patients, residents and the staff who care for them. At Sodexo, we improve the Quality of Life of all those we serve.

Requirements

• Minimum Education Requirement - High School Diploma or GED or equivalent experience
• Candidates recently graduating or obtaining certifications in biomed, electronics or related field are encouraged to apply

Responsibilities

• Be assigned a dedicated mentor and training partner
• Receive formal training on medical terminology, anatomy, IT/cybersecurity, test equipment, electrical systems, & basic biomed/equipment repair
• Gain on-the-job training and experience in a hospital setting
• Learn how to serve in an entry-level clinical equipment support technician role
• Repair and/or maintain basic medical equipment
• Inventory equipment
• Communicate with customers and hospital staff
• Demonstrate a safety mindset
