About The Position

Sodexo is seeking a Biomedical Equipment Technician III for Froedtert Health located in Milwaukee, WI. This role involves servicing clinical equipment and requires a valid driver's license and an acceptable driver's license record check.

Requirements

• Preferably 7-10 years of experience in electronic, mechanical or electro-mechanical repair in a health care technology setting.
• Basic knowledge of networking theory.
• Considerable knowledge of electronic circuitry and technical aspects of the operation, repair, and maintenance of electronic equipment.
• Substantial knowledge of basic anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology.
• Ability to interpret schematics, wiring diagrams, and illustrated parts drawings of biomedical instrumentation.
• Skill in testing electronic equipment as well as in manual dexterity, hand-to-eye coordination, and color vision.

Responsibilities

• Formal training and preferred experience servicing clinical equipment.
• Experience in a healthcare facility or healthcare setting.
• Effectively repair, maintain, and calibrate clinical devices such as Servo U, I, V60s, Trilogy EV300 Ventilators, GE Anesthesia, Defibrillators, IV Infusion Pumps, and Telemetry.
• Provide leadership experience with mentoring.
• Utilize proactive thinking skills to troubleshoot.
• Demonstrate strong communication, time management, and customer service skills.
