About The Position

Maintains assigned basic medical equipment and support systems.

Requirements

  • High School degree or GED.

Responsibilities

  • Responds to basic support requests. Interviews customer to determine nature and scope of the customer's issue, and the appropriate response.
  • Diagnoses, resolves and closes basic medical equipment issues according to service level guidelines. Promptly escalates issues to higher level technical support or management when necessary.
  • Performs routine safety checks, calibrations, and preventative maintenance on basic medical equipment and support systems.
  • Demonstrates understanding of customer service policies and procedures, continuously develops depth and breadth of technical competencies.
  • Within scope of job, requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgement and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and take appropriate action.
