About The Position
As one of the oldest medical schools in the country, the UC College of Medicine has a reputation for training best-in-class health care professionals and developing cutting-edge procedures and research that improve the health and clinical care of patients. The Department of Surgery is looking for a Biomedical Engineer, who can perform research and collaborations to exchange and utilize professional engineering expertise with scientists and medical providers with the goal of exploring and devising practices, concepts, and theories impacting health, safety, and quality of life. Manage the daily operation of research projects and ensure strict compliance with product quality assurance, equipment and procedural standards, health and safety protocols.
