About The Position

Under limited supervision, performs repairs and scheduled preventive maintenance on complex biomedical equipment to enhance its clinical effectiveness.

Requirements

• AA degree preferred
• 3-5 years of experience

Responsibilities

• Services electronic, pneumatic and fluidic medical systems.
• Diagnoses technical problems and identifies and implements appropriate corrective actions
• Orders repair parts, accurately documents parts usage in the database system and stores spare parts in assigned bins.
• Maintains, cleans, and organizes work area and test equipment between tasks and at the end of shift
• Effectively schedules repair service with equipment user departments to minimize downtime.
• Performs PM on medical equipment per department standards
• Preventative Maintenance for a variety of complex medical equipment, documents work performed and applies maintenance sticker.
