About The Position

Med One Group, a leader in the medical equipment finance industry for over 25 years, is seeking a Biomed Repair Technician to join our team of experts assembling, maintaining, and repairing various pieces of medical equipment at our San Jose, CA location. This is a full-time position.

Requirements

  • Associate’s degree in Electronics, or a related field.
  • 4–5 years of experience repairing and maintaining medical equipment, including infusion pumps, patient monitors, ventilators, and hospital/bariatric beds.
  • Proficient in reading schematics and interpreting safety rules, operating instructions, maintenance procedures, and technical manuals.
  • Passionate about the work and inspiring others to stay motivated and engaged.
  • Dependable, highly self-motivated, and committed to quality work.

Responsibilities

  • Test the functionality of equipment and perform accuracy, sensitivity, and selectivity measurements for all equipment in the Med One warehouse.
  • Assemble, clean, calibrate, repair, and maintain various types of medical equipment quickly and efficiently.
  • Complete courses and certifications recommended by the supervisor to ensure competency and expertise in equipment servicing.
  • Work in a team-oriented, hardworking, and supportive environment focused on completing assignments efficiently.
  • Provide additional support as needed by assisting with the delivery or shipment of medical equipment to hospitals.
  • Assist hospitals on-site with setup, troubleshooting, and diagnosis of medical equipment.
  • Interface with hospital systems and other customers as needed.
  • Full-time, non-exempt position working 40 hours per week; some overtime may be required based on workload.
