Job Summary Under the supervision of the Manager Biomed Engineering the Technician repairs and maintains all types of medical equipment to include ultrasound systems; assists medical/nursing staff in operation/use of equipment.

Requirements

Associate Degree or equivalent experience required. Bachelor Degree preferred.
7 to 10 years experience as biomedical engineering tech.
Current California State Drivers license.
Must be 21 years of age or older
must have two (2) years of continuous driving experience in the state of California.
If a license is suspended, the experience record begins from the time of license reinstatement
must have no major convictions (ie DUI/DWI, hit and run, driving w/suspended license, reckless driving, eluding police, open containers, exhibition of speed (racing), negligent driving)
must have no more than one (1) moving citation in a three (3) year period
must have no more than one (1) at- fault accident in a three (3) year period.
Accidents will be considered at- fault unless evidence is provided (ie police report and/or letter from insurance company) showing the incident as not at-fault.
