About The Position

Under the leadership of the Assistant Director, this position is responsible for the scheduled and non-scheduled maintenance of a broad spectrum of medical equipment and other non-medical systems including microcomputer, telephone systems, and data communications systems. This is a senior level position and requires the ability to work without any supervision from inception to completion of most routine and emergency maintenance functions, as well as assigned projects.

Requirements

• minimum of 3 years’ experience as a Biomedical Equipment Technician, preferably in a hospital environment
• A.S. Degree in Biomedical Equipment Technology or military equivalent
• being on-call and responding to emergency situations as deemed necessary by the facility
