As a key member of the Enovis Foot & Ankle Research and Testing Team, you will play an integral part in helping Enovis drive the medical technology industry forward through transforming patient care and creating better patient outcomes. This Biomechanical Research Engineer position is responsible for the organization, development, verification, execution, and documentation of research and biomechanical testing in support of Enovis Foot & Ankle’s portfolio of orthopedic implants and instruments. The Biomechanical Research Engineer should be able to conceptualize and execute experimental designs, design and validation of test models and data measurement methods; experimental and computational evaluation of the performance of implants, instruments, materials, and tissues; troubleshoot equipment technical issues and/or inconsistencies within test setups; and multi-task on concurrent projects with associated deliverable deadlines. The Biomechanical Research Engineer is expected to work independently with little supervision and collaborate with project requestors and project leads. The Research and Testing department acts as a service role to internal clients in product development and marketing and to external clients in the orthopaedic field.
