About The Position

Provide student instruction from a Christian worldview for various undergraduate courses (both lecture and lab) in the biology major with a focus on, but not limited to, the zoo and wildlife concentration.

Requirements

• Excellent communication skills
• Willingness to attend the BJU Summer Institute in Teaching Science
• Commitment to a conceptual approach to teaching
• Desire to create a 'natural critical learning environment' for students in and out of the classroom
• Commitment to a biblically consistent view of science as articulated in the BJU Division of Natural Science philosophy statement
• Exemplify a biblical role model for students and colleagues
• College classroom teaching experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Mentoring and advising students in the area of biological sciences
• Teaching related to area of expertise in biology courses
• Teaching other assigned courses and labs
