About The Position

The Biologist 3 position at the State of Nevada involves conducting fisheries, wildlife, and habitat management projects and research studies. Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in biology, wildlife management, or a closely related field.
  • Three years of professional wildlife management experience, including research studies and project proposals.
  • Two years of experience as a Biologist II in Nevada State service, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Knowledge of Nevada's habitats, plants, soils, and rangeland restoration techniques.
  • Experience with equipment operation (skid steers, backhoe, forklift), GIS, and databases.

Nice To Haves

  • Knowledge of geo-spatial information systems (GIS).
  • Experience with databases related to wildlife management.

Responsibilities
