About The Position

MiraCosta College is seeking an equity-minded, full-time tenure-track Biological Sciences Instructor for the Foundations of Biology-Evolution, Biodiversity, and Organismal Biology (BIO202) course, starting in August 2025. The role involves coordinating and developing curriculum, employing culturally responsive teaching methods, and collaborating with other faculty members to enhance the program.

Requirements

• Master's degree in any biological science or equivalent qualifications.
• Demonstrated sensitivity to diverse academic, socioeconomic, cultural, disability, gender identity, sexual orientation, and ethnic backgrounds of community college students, faculty, and staff.

Responsibilities
