About The Position

The Department of Biological Sciences at Hillsborough College Brandon Campus is seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable individual to join our faculty as a tenure-track instructor. The Department seeks a strong scholar-practitioner who will share faculty enthusiasm for excellence in undergraduate teaching, service to the campus and broader, college-wide communities, and dedication to community partnerships within the region. Requirements

• Master's degree in biology or master's degree with 18 graduate semester hours in any combination of: Anatomy & Physiology, Biochemistry, Biology, Botany, Ecology, Environmental Science, Marine Biology, Microbiology, Oceanography (with a biology emphasis), and Zoology.

Nice To Haves

• Demonstrated instructional experience at the post-secondary level.
• Ability to teach an evening course if necessary.
• Instructional knowledge of CANVAS or another learning management system (LMS); and a commitment to students through exceptional teaching and learning.
