As a Biological Science Assistant - Project Assistant in Springfield, Oregon, you will: Catch, tag and monitor juvenile Chinook salmon to study benefits of habitat restoration. Install PIT arrays and traps to support this and other studies. Conduct spawning surveys for adult spring Chinook salmon. Requirements

  • Experience operating and maintaining fish sorting and trapping equipment
  • Experience with research and monitoring techniques
  • Experience working with fish
  • Experience collecting and recording data
  • Anyone who has or are in pursuit of a Fisheries or Wildlife Science degree or related degree in biological/ecological sciences

Responsibilities
