The University of Minnesota Genomics Center is hiring a skilled and experienced bioinformatics analyst to support the cutting-edge genomics services the Genomics Center provides to researchers and clinicians at the University of Minnesota, and to external academic and industry scientists. This new position will include roles in our Operations, Development, and Research groups. The position will require the running, maintaining, and troubleshooting of specialized databases and software necessary to analyze data, as well as involvement in grant application and scientific publishing. Major job functions for this position include analyzing genomic datasets, assisting the Development and Research groups, and maintaining the Genomics Center's informatics infrastructure. The position is temporary, ending August 31, 2025, with a work schedule of Monday-Friday, 9:00AM-5:30PM, and a remote work profile of 50-90%.
