About The Position
Eurofins is seeking talented individuals to join our company full-time as a Biochemist to support the development of a novel drug delivery platform. This role will begin in January 2026. Selected individuals will join a dynamic, multidisciplinary team of scientists and contribute to a variety of IND-enabling formulations activities in a highly collaborative environment.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in biochemistry, chemistry, biology or a related field with 0-2 years of relevant experience
- Experience required in performing liquid chromatography (SEC, IEX, ProA, HIC), UV-vis spectroscopy, capillary electrophoresis (CE-SDS, cIEF), and endotoxin/LAL
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to document experimental work with electronic laboratory notebooks (ELN) are a must
- Familiarity with standard office software (MS Office, Teams, SharePoint) is required
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, agil,e and highly collaborative environment is essential
- Authorization to work in the United States indefinitely without restriction or sponsorship
Nice To Haves
- Working knowledge of bioassays and microbiological assays is a plus
- Knowledge in high-throughput (96-well plate) spectroscopic, light scattering, and subvisible particulate methods is a plus
- Knowledge of cGMP, GLP, and regulatory requirements for the biotech and pharmaceutical industries is highly desirable
- Experience with aseptic techniques and sterilization processes is desirable
Responsibilities
- Develop and qualify biochemical and microbiological assays
- Perform characterization and release testing of drug products using qualified methods
- Maintain accurate records and documentation of test results
- Assist with laboratory upkeep and instrument maintenance
- Support technology transfer of biochemistry and microbiology methods to CDMO
- Troubleshoot and resolve testing-related issues
- Participate in internal and external audits
- Stay current with the latest industry developments and regulatory requirements
