Lab-based role focused on cell handling and flow cytometry, including routine sample processing and project-based work to enhance the capabilities of flow cytometry assays. Participate in the development and validation of new laboratory procedures and tests. Operate and maintain cytometer-related computer hardware and software. Preparing solutions and samples for cytometer-related assays. Maintain detailed documentation of scientific work in an electronic notebook.

Requirements

  • B.S. in biological or biochemical sciences (or a related field) with 3-4 years of relevant laboratory experience. M.S. in biological or biochemical sciences (or related field) with 1-2 years of relevant laboratory experience.
  • Expert in cell handling and cell flow cytometry (familiarity in operating the Cytoflex instrument is a plus).
  • Proficiency in data analysis software such as FlowJo, Cytexpert, or similar platforms.
  • Strong organizational, time management, and troubleshooting abilities with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to design experiments and interpret data, keep accurate records, follow instructions, and comply with company policies.
  • Ability to work independently and as a part of a team, self-motivation, adaptability, and a positive attitude.

Nice To Haves

  • Expert in multi-color flow cytometry with a minimum of 2 colors.
  • Familiarity with electronic lab notebook (ELN) documentation.
  • Authorization to work in the United States indefinitely without restriction or sponsorship.
