About The Position

The Bioanalytical Research Associate works on cutting edge science, apply state-of-the-art gene editing technologies, and take part in discovering and developing next-generation therapies for Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy, Myotonic Dystrophy Type 1 and other genetic disorders.

Requirements

• Demonstrated experience in standard in vitro techniques, assay development and data analysis.
• Excellent organizational skills and documentation practices
• Excellent communication skills with ability to build open and collaborative relationships and work effectively as a member of a multidisciplinary team.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in molecular biology, biology, pharmacology or related discipline.

Responsibilities

• Perform molecular assays to support sample analysis from preclinical studies. Assays to be performed include (but are not limited to): DNA and RNA isolation, qPCR, RT-PCR and sequencing
• Coordinate sample storage and analysis
• Support assay development using new technologies as required
• Execute assays using good documentation practices
• Effectively collaborate with a fully integrated team to facilitate the success of projects.
