About The Position

This position is responsible for providing a memorable experience for Bingo guests while protecting the assets, as well as demonstrating the GILA WAY. The role involves promoting and providing excellent guest service experiences to both internal and external guests, ensuring that all Bingo equipment is operational before each session, and maintaining the integrity of the Bingo games.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Ability to perform the GILA WAY: Greet our guest, Interact positively with our guest, Listen actively to our guest, Appreciate our guest.
• Must possess excellent guest service skills, strong telephone etiquette, and be a self-starter with the ability to follow-up and complete tasks in a timely manner with minimum supervision.
• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships and gain the cooperation of guests and fellow team members.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and oral.
• Must have, or the ability to acquire within one year, an in-depth knowledge and thorough understanding of Enterprise Policies and Procedures, governmental regulations, and technical rules relevant to their responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Promotes and provides excellent guest service experiences to both internal and external guests.
• Completes a pre-session check of Bingo equipment including Bingo machinery, number boards, Bingo verifier, printer, Bingo balls, T.V. monitors, sound system, and microphones, ensuring all items are operational.
• Controls the bingo program time by calling game ball numbers at a speed that allows customers to mark their bingo cards accurately.
• Announces bingo ball numbers and verifies them via computer.
• Verifies and validates all bingo winners by entering bingo card serial numbers into the bingo verifier, and announces valid bingo and payout.
• Protects the integrity of bingo and operation of all bingo games in all ways possible.
• Maintains a dependable work attendance record with extremely infrequent absences and/or lateness.
• Performs other special projects and duties as assigned.
