About The Position

The Bindery Operator operates multiple binders and finishing machines, such as stitchers, cutters, folders, gluers, die-cutting machines, and other finishing/bindery equipment. We are looking for someone with several years of experience as an operator in a bindery-folder or finishing setting. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of efficiently operating folding machines, ensuring high-quality output, and meeting deadlines in a fast-paced print production environment. This position is excellent for anyone looking for a stable position in a quickly growing company!

Requirements

At least 3 years of experience with Bindery-Folding/Finishing machine operation.
Must be able to complete and pass Public Trust Security Clearance

Responsibilities

Maintain on-time machine operation in the Bindery department.
Ensure that assembly practices comply with established policies and procedures.
Troubleshoot problems and report findings to the appropriate program manager and departmental managerial team.
Perform typical Bindery operations to support the assembly floor.
Detect and report defective materials or questionable conditions to the department supervisor.
Maintain the work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition and follow prescribed safety regulations.
Perform prescribed preventative maintenance on machines.
Work overtime as needed.
Perform related duties as assigned by supervision.
