Job Summary The Bindery Operator is responsible for operating bindery and finishing equipment to complete printed materials according to job specifications, quality standards, and production schedules.

Requirements

• Prior bindery or print finishing experience preferred
• Ability to read and interpret job tickets and production instructions
• Strong attention to detail and quality
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods
• Willingness to work overtime or flexible shifts as needed

Responsibilities

• Operate bindery and finishing equipment such as cutters, folders, stitchers, gluers, laminators, and shrink-wrap machines
• Set up, adjust, and run equipment based on job tickets and specifications
• Inspect finished products to ensure quality, accuracy, and consistency
• Perform routine equipment checks and basic maintenance
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
• Partner with press and production teams to meet deadlines and throughput goals
• Accurately complete production and quality documentation
