We’re seeking a skilled Production Associate II to support our bindery and finishing operations. In this role, you’ll play a critical part in producing high-quality photographic products through cutting, trimming, folding, mounting, and finishing processes while ensuring precision, quality, and workflow efficiency. This is not an entry-level production role. We’re looking for someone who understands bindery workflows, equipment operation, and quality standards in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Requirements

  • High School diploma or equivalent required
  • Minimum 2+ years of bindery or print finishing experience required
  • Experience operating bindery/finishing equipment (cutters, folders, laminators, mounting equipment, etc.)
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting ability
  • Ability to perform precision work with strong attention to detail
  • Computer proficiency
  • Strong communication skills
  • Team-oriented mindset

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in a fast-paced print or manufacturing environment preferred

Responsibilities

  • Perform bindery and finishing tasks according to SOPs and quality standards
  • Operate bindery equipment such as cutters, folders, laminators, mounting equipment, and finishing machinery
  • Set up, adjust, and maintain bindery machines to ensure optimal performance
  • Perform precision cutting, trimming, folding, and assembly of printed photographic products
  • Conduct quality inspections and sign off on Tier 2 quality control checkpoints
  • Identify and report unsafe practices immediately
  • Troubleshoot equipment and material issues; escalate when necessary
  • Maintain documentation for production-related activities
  • Moderate workflow by assigning and delegating production instructions as needed
  • Handle higher-complexity tasks such as equipment adjustments, repairs, and paper changes (Advanced Level II)
  • Manage VIP-specific workflow handling
  • Access customer orders and internal systems to resolve production issues
  • Train Level I employees on bindery processes and equipment
  • Follow lean manufacturing concepts and continuous improvement practices
