About The Position

As an Assistant Machine Operator, you will:
Set up, Adjust & Operate a single piece of Machinery
Participate in training to prepare to promote into a Lead operator position
Inspect equipment for safety issues
Monitor quality, output and productivity
Learn to utilize tools to measure and adjust machine to target levels
Learn and engage in preventative maintenance tasks as required
Assist lead operator with providing guidance to crew members
Work in a team environment and cross-train with others

Requirements

• Ability to lift 20-50 pounds
• Ability to stand for the duration of your shift
• Ability to do basic math and computer knowledge

Nice To Haves

• preference will be given to candidates who agree to participate in cross-training. This includes achieving qualified status within the position and assuming responsibility as a backup for lateral and progressive roles, as needed.
