About The Position

Inspects products for quality, completeness and accuracy. Is responsible for ensuring printed products are in the proper order and all products are for the proper customer. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Inspects printed products for accuracy & quality of print including: Verify run of header sheets matches printed products Inspects product for the following: Printer Spots, Press Spots, Faded Printing, Stock Inserted Incorrectly, Incorrect Stock, Wrinkled Stock, Missing Pages, Out of gauge, trim, tape and stitches. Documents inspection through MMI interface on Inspection computer. Prepares orders with checks, registers, and covers as directed per order. Neatly positions inspected product on packaging boards. Repairs check pads as needed with header tape or enters reprints as determined by the inspector. Maintains a steady workflow with a minimum of 100 orders inspected per hour. Cleans and restocks workstation during the work shift and at the end of the work shift. Notify supervisor of repetitive errors. Proficient in delivery duties on the Campbell Packaging line to include traying mail, verifying counts per tray, scanning, weighing, and confirming postal trays in the Manufacturing Core Shipments program. Proficient in delivery duties on the Bielo and Kugler manufacturing lines to include organizing product at machine delivery, prepping boards for inspection, distributing work to inspectors, collecting used boards, stocking the machine with boards and assisting the machine operator as needed. Maintains safe, neat, and orderly work area. Qualifications To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Conditions which may make this necessary include, but are not limited to, machine down time, workflow/project deadlines, special projects, illness of coworkers or any special situation as determined by the management team within the department.
