About The Position

The Sanitation Associate is responsible for safely cleaning and sanitizing processing rooms and equipment while adhering to all Food Safety and Safety policies and procedures. This role includes performing self-inspections (pre-ops) in preparation for inspections by Quality Assurance and USDA.

Requirements

• Must consistently lift at least 50 pounds.
• Exposure to chemicals and fumes; personal protective equipment (PPE) is provided and required. PPE must always be worn while performing tasks.
• Ability to work in wet, hot, humid, and/or cold conditions while wearing PPE.
• Strong communication skills to effectively interact with supervisors and team members.

Nice To Haves

• Previous experience is preferred but not required.
• The ideal candidate demonstrates an understanding of the Company’s philosophy and values.

Responsibilities

• Clean all bins and trays using high-pressure hoses and chemical applications.
• Ensure all bins and trays meet USDA sanitation standards.
• Operate pallet jack safely and efficiently.
• Operate tray wash machines.
