The Bin Repair Laborer is responsible for the restoration of wooden cranberry crates, involving the removal of defective wood and replacement with new components. This role requires the safe operation of various tools including pneumatic staplers, nail guns, hammers, pry bars, chisels, cutters, and Sawzalls. Key duties also include maintaining a clean and organized work area, reporting operational issues to supervisors, and staging cranberry bins for repair and stacking. The position demands consistent attendance and the ability to work overtime when necessary. Additionally, the laborer will perform forklift operations for staging, loading, unloading, and transporting bins. Support for Receiving Station’s harvest operations, including set-up, monitoring equipment efficiency, and assisting with maintenance and cleanup, is also part of the role. Physical snow removal and operating large equipment for snow removal, along with assisting in waste disposal and maintaining accurate shipment logs, are further responsibilities.
