About The Position

Fisk Electric, a Tutor Perini Company, is seeking a BIM Technician to join our office in San Antonio, TX. As a BIM Technician at Fisk Electric, reporting to the Operations Manager, you will have the opportunity to create, modify, validate, and prepare detailed 2D and 3D construction drawings to meet the project’s expectations. You will create the detailed product drawings required for manufacturing and field install drawings for the Operations team. You will collaborate with the Operations team and BIM support lead to ensure that detailing and installation practices utilize the most efficient and effective solution. Your role will also involve managing the workflow of all tasks assigned and providing feedback to the BIM lead and Supervisor to determine areas, systems, or assemblies that can be manufactured to improve efficiency during field installations.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Strong BIM software experience or commercial field electrical experience.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Create, modify, validate, and prepare detailed 2D and 3D construction drawings.
• Create detailed product drawings required for manufacturing.
• Create field install drawings for Operations team.
• Provide input to the project dashboard/tracking system.
• Collaborate with the Operations team and BIM support lead.
• Review, evaluate, and maintain VDC deliverables.
• Manage the workflow of all tasks assigned.
• Provide feedback to BIM lead and Supervisor.
• Complete record drawings at the end of the project.
• Identify and communicate potential installation clashes with other trades.
