About The Position
L.A. Fuess Partners in Dallas is seeking an experienced BIM Project Manager to join their team. The role involves assisting structural engineering teams in developing structural design models and producing structural design drawings and details based on instructions from engineers. The manager will also be responsible for mentoring and training others in structural modeling and design documentation standards and best practices.
Requirements
- A minimum of 4 - 5 years of experience in structural modeling and coordination in a design firm utilizing Autodesk Revit.
- An ability to produce design-level construction documents utilizing Revit.
- Fluency in Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, Bluebeam, and Autodesk Forma.
- An ability to communicate effectively and to work well with others in a collaborative environment.
- A high attention to detail, quality, and accuracy.
Responsibilities
- Assist structural engineering teams in developing structural design models.
- Produce structural design drawings and details based on verbal or written instruction from engineers.
- Mentor and train others in structural modeling and design documentation standards and best practices.
