About The Position

This position is for those new to BIM software who require training in the software skills and trade knowledge required for BIM modeling. This is a temp to perm position.

Requirements

• High School Diploma
• Proficient basic computer software skills (Windows Explorer, Word, Excel, Gmail)
• Exposure to AutoCAD, Revit, and/or Bluebeam is preferred

Nice To Haves

• Working towards an Associate Degree or Technical Certificate in Engineering, Technical Drafting, or equivalent work experience is preferred

Responsibilities

• Setup and model 2D/3D drawings using AutoCAD, Revit, and other BIM software
• Manage time to meet project schedules and task deadlines
• Manage files on share sites, network servers, and software platforms
• Process and manage backgrounds provided by trade partners
• Use Bluebeam or other drawing markup tools to coordinate changes with designers and engineers
• Check completed work for quality, clarity, and use of ACCO BIM standards
• Prepare project-deliverable packages for transmittal/submission
• Communicate design and constructability issues/challenges with project team
• Effectively and professionally communicate and foster collaboration with colleagues and project team members
• Apply training and project experience, and demonstrate constant improvement of technical abilities
• Other duties as assigned by Manager
