About The Position

In this role, you will work closely with our lead architects and engineers to develop design documents and create digital 3D models based on project needs. The ideal candidate experience in Building Information Modeling (BIM) or Virtual Design & Construction (VDC) in a commercial construction environment, using REVIT or Navisworks to develop drawings.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Construction Engineering, or a related field.
2+ years of experience in BIM/VDC coordination.
Strong understanding of building information modeling.
Proficiency in REVIT, Navisworks, and AutoCAD.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite products (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook, Teams).
Ability to use engineering software, such as AutoCAD, Primavera, or others.
Excellent organizational and time management skills.
High level of attention to detail, and highly organized.
Ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality.
Ability to effectively prioritize responsibilities depending on project needs. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, and employees.
Ability to develop and maintain successful relationships with all levels of employees, clients, and subcontractors.
Must be able to work under pressure and meet deadlines while maintaining a professional attitude.
Ability to work in a construction site environment (trailer office).
Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
Ability to communicate in Mandarin, preferred.
Must have and maintain a valid Arizona driver’s license. May be required to travel to other sites within Arizona to perform certain work functions.

Responsibilities

Interpret and understand architectural and structural drawings and details.
Produce new drawings or edit existing prints based on system department needs and directions.
Coordinate and monitor shop drawing submission schedule.
Demonstrate an understanding of accurate drafting methods, layering, X-References, dimensioning, model space/paper space, viewports, and scaling.
Ability to use REVIT and Navisworks to develop and monitor designs.
Monitor and detect clashes within drawings, using Navisworks.
Update models to reflect as-built conditions.
Other responsibilities as assigned.
