The cost team delivers solutions to clients in the areas of conceptual estimating, budget development, cost planning, feasibility studies, value management, economic forecasting, milestone reports, pre- and post-contract auditing, change order review and reconciliation, BIM 5D cost modeling, LEED cost analysis, life cycle costing, and more. We encourage you to research us to learn more about our outstanding reputation within this service line. We are currently hiring for a BIM Manager in the Syracuse, NY area. In this role, you will have the opportunity to grow your BIM and cost knowledge within all phases of a project, while gaining experience on a large-scale semi-conductor project.

Nice To Haves

  • Education: BS in Construction Management, Engineering, QS, Architecture, or related field.
  • Experience: 10+ years' of BIM experience post receiving undergraduate degree working in related field.
  • Experience: Prior experience working on large scale semi-conductor, manufacturing, life sciences or data center projects is preferred.
  • Capable of using AI tools.
  • Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities

  • Advise project management team on improvements and new strategies.
  • Measure and estimate building and material costs for projects.
  • Prepare reports about projected building costs.
  • Work collaboratively with stakeholders in the preparation of estimates/ cost plans.
  • KPI AI tracking progress reporting, schedule tracing reporting, Manpower loading tracking, Validate installed quantities versus reported physical progress by CM and versus engineering drawings. Also works to provide should costs in support of contractor work authorizations.
  • KPI dashboards updated weekly with accurate cost and progress data.
  • Reduction in cost variance and improved predictability of project budgets."
  • Other duties as assigned.
