About The Position

The BIM Manager is a high-impact leadership role focused on executing a comprehensive digital transformation. This individual will spearhead the transition of firmwide standards into a unified, data-infused Building Information Modeling (BIM) ecosystem a sophisticated Kit of Parts. You will be responsible for the operational DNA of project delivery, establishing the SOPs, workflows, and data structures that govern both internal teams and external consultant partners. Beyond delivery, this leader will drive the firm’s long-term management of Digital Twins, along with all associated data. This role will function as the internal subject matter expert, establishing a peerless, proprietary digital framework that creates a new category of excellence in building information management.

Requirements

  • Education: Professional degree in Architecture or a related field.
  • Experience: 8+ years in the AEC industry with a significant focus on digital project delivery for large-scale, complex building projects
  • Detail-oriented, organized and enjoys problem solving
  • Expert Revit Proficiency: Advanced modeling, parametric families, and multidisciplinary coordination.
  • Cloud Coordination: Mastery of Navisworks and Autodesk Construction Cloud (BIM 360).
  • Data Integration: Deep understanding of data visualization tools like Power BI, Tableau, or similar.
  • Design and Scripting: Strong knowledge of Rhino and Grasshopper.

Nice To Haves

  • Proficiency in Dynamo scripting or Revit API is highly desirable to drive automation.

Responsibilities

  • Global Design Standards: Direct cross-functional teams and external consultants in developing global standards, "Kit of Parts" libraries, and BIM Execution Plans (BEPs).
  • Workflow Optimization: Continuously refine SOPs based on feedback to ensure the transition to BIM reduces friction and improves productivity.
  • Consultant Leadership: Act as the technical lead and "Owner’s Representative" to ensure external partners meet rigorous requirements for data integrity and brand consistency.
  • Internal BIM Academy: Design and lead a comprehensive curriculum to upskill staff on new kit-of-parts methodologies and SOPs.
  • Digital Ecosystem Management: Lead the enterprise-wide configuration and support of cloud environments (ACC/BIM 360) and BIM frameworks.
  • Research & Development: Pilot new tools, such as automation scripts or carbon tracking, and translate findings into simplified workflows for the team.
  • Systems Leadership: Provide expert guidance on troubleshooting technical issues and identifying process gaps across the project lifecycle.
  • Active Mentorship: Help internal teams navigate new workflows and adopt digital-first mentalities through direct mentorship.
  • Expert-in-Residence: Guide teams on moving data from static models to real-time engines and operational systems.
  • Lifecycle Data Flow: Oversee the transition of "As-Built" data into facility management systems, ensuring a seamless flow from construction to operations.
  • Strategic Alignment: Collaborate with internal stakeholders to align design technology with long-term business and operational goals.
