About The Position

STV is seeking a BIM Manager – Bentley Systems to join our Digital Advisory team within the Centers of Excellence. The ideal candidate will have strong Bentley Systems expertise , especially in OpenBuildings , and will provide leadership, technical guidance, and mentorship in building information modeling (BIM) workflows for complex infrastructure and building projects. This position will help ensure efficient coordination, high-quality deliverables, and successful project execution.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management, or related field, or equivalent experience.
  • 4 + years of experience in AEC industry with strong focus on BIM management.
  • Expert-level proficiency in Bentley Systems , particularly OpenBuildings , MicroStation, and ProjectWise.
  • Strong organizational, project management, and communication skills.
  • Proven ability to lead multidisciplinary teams and mentor junior staff.
  • Familiarity with BIM standards, QA/QC processes, and digital delivery best practices.

Nice To Haves

  • Professional Certification in BIM Management.
  • Experience with infrastructure or transit projects.
  • Familiarity with programming or automation tools (Dynamo, C#, Python, Java).

Responsibilities

  • Lead multi-disciplinary BIM coordination meetings and resolve complex design and constructability issues.
  • Utilize Bentley Systems software , with emphasis on OpenBuildings , to manage and coordinate BIM models across infrastructure and building projects.
  • Provide hands-on support for Bentley software suite, troubleshoot technical issues, and optimize performance.
  • Develop and maintain enterprise digital libraries, templates, and scripts to support BIM workflows.
  • Evaluate project deliverables for compliance with BIM execution plans, standards, and client requirements.
  • Interface with clients to define BIM deliverables and ensure adherence to agreed-upon protocols.
  • Mentor junior team members in BIM best practices through formal and informal training sessions.
  • Stay current with Bentley software updates, digital delivery trends, and emerging BIM technologies.
