About The Position

DynaTen (a Comfort Systems USA Company) has been successfully providing Commercial Service and Construction Solutions to the greater North Texas market. DynaTen is hiring an in-person HVAC/PLUMBING Designer that will be responsible for the design and coordination of mechanical ductwork and plumbing systems. This role requires a strong understanding of mechanical principles, Plumbing Code and the ability to apply this knowledge to complex commercial projects Responsibilities Coordinate and work efficiently and in accordance with plans and specifications, and DynaTen fabrication standards; advise the respective Project Manager as conflicts occur Document and provide marked-up submittals to Project Manager showing any modifications, or discrepancies related to inline duct and piping devices. Monitor and report to the respective Project Manager when coordination and detailing require work not indicated on the contract drawings. Attend job meetings as requested by the Project Manager Generate full coordination drawings and provide all necessary paperwork to complete the task. Provide clear, dimensional, and accurate drawings. Visit job sites as necessary to complete work assignments. Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor.

Requirements

Ability to read and understand contract drawings, specs, and submittals.
Ability to coordinate and perform multiple activities in a timely manner
Ability to deal diplomatically and effectively with internal and external customers
Ability to maintain a sense of urgency, but remain calm when handling emergencies
Schedule: Full-time, Monday through Friday. Occasional evening and weekend work may be required as duties demand. Unscheduled overtime may be required, as necessary
Possess field experience as a construction sheet metal mechanic or sheet metal foreman or Lic Plumbing.
