Requirements

• 2-7 years in data engineering, focusing on BIM data formats and workflows.
• Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred, or equivalent professional experience.
• Experience with programming languages including Python, JavaScript, and SQL.
• Strong background in data modeling, data architecture, and ETL processes.
• Track record of designing and implementing GraphQL and/or RESTful APIs.
• Hands-on experience with modern data warehouse platforms, such as Databricks or Snowflake.
• Experience working with major cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud).

Nice To Haves

• Experience with graph databases and their applications in architectural or construction contexts.
• Demonstrated passion for innovation and proven ability to stay current with evolving BIM technologies and data engineering trends.
• Experience with BIM tools and frameworks such as Autodesk Platform Services, Speckle, IFC, or OpenUSD.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain robust data pipelines for BIM data extraction, transformation, cleaning, pre-processing, aggregation, and loading.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and deliver scalable, efficient solutions.
• Ensure data pipelines and integrations align with industry standards and best practices for BIM workflows.
