About The Position

As a BIM Coordinator, you will work under the close supervision of the BIM Manager and develop your engineering knowledge to produce multidisciplinary BIM Models and drawings. Supporting our engineering teams, you will be responsible for creating drawings from markups and ensuring the output meets the required standards and procedures.

Requirements

• Ability to read and understand engineering mark-up drawings.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy, with the ability to identify inconsistencies or coordination issues.
• Experience using Revit to produce engineering 3D models and drawings. Navigate the project browser, ribbon, and settings. Knowledge of view templates, filters and worksets. Use of standard families/blocks.
• Experience using AutoCAD to produce 2D drawings.
• Computer literate, with good working knowledge of Microsoft Office suite.
• Certificate, Associate’s Degree or higher from a college or university in Computer Aided Drafting and Design or other engineering-related discipline.
• Candidates for this role should have a minimum of 5 years of experience in an engineering environment.
• Attention to Detail: careful attention to incorporation of engineer’s/designer’s mark-ups and use of company engineering standards.

Responsibilities

• Supporting our engineering teams, you will be responsible for creating drawings from markups and ensuring the output meets the required standards and procedures.
• Support the BIM Lead with setup of drawing sheets and incorporate designs developed by the engineers/designers into Revit or AutoCAD.
• Time management and meeting agreed deadlines set by the team.
