About The Position

BL Companies is growing and seeking a BIM Coordinator / Specialist to help advance our firmwide BIM strategy. This is a highly visible, hands‑on role for a 5+ years experienced AEC professional who is passionate about quality, consistency, and innovation in digital design delivery. In this role, you’ll collaborate directly with project teams, lead BIM planning efforts, support drawing production, and drive continuous improvement of BIM standards, workflows, and training across the firm. You will also play a critical role in developing talent by leading Revit training, strengthening digital asset libraries, and helping integrate BIM across multiple disciplines.

Requirements

• 5+ years experienced AEC professional
• Passionate about quality, consistency, and innovation in digital design delivery

Nice To Haves

• Knowledge of BIM standards such as ISO 19650 is a plus
• Familiarity with tools like Dynamo, BIM 360

Responsibilities

• Integrate with project teams to support design execution and model-based workflows
• Participate in drawing production alongside project teams
• Support BIM project planning at project kickoff and key project milestones
• Advise teams on appropriate Level of Development (LOD) for deliverables
• Perform regular model audits to ensure quality, consistency, and performance
• Troubleshoot BIM and Revit model issues across disciplines
• Manage BIM standards development, implementation, and firmwide consistency
• Assist with developing and administering BIM documentation and workflow standards
• Evaluate and recommend improvements to BIM integration in a multidisciplinary environment
• Support integration with related technologies that tie to other software.
• Design and deliver Revit training sessions from basic through advanced levels
• Support and educate staff on primary design applications and BIM add‑ins
• Lead ongoing training related to BIM standards, templates, and workflows
• Identify, create, and enhance Revit content, families, schedules, and digital assets across disciplines
