Responsible for the supervision of non - exempt billing personnel to ensure departmental standards are achieved. Accountable for the timeliness, accuracy of data and customer service to Quest patients and clients. Responsible for employee hiring, training, development, disciplinary actions, review and ensuring productivity and quality standards are achieved. Accountable to ensure all staff adhere to Quest integrity and compliance standards. This position is full-time, Monday - Friday. Employees are required to have flexibility to work any of our 8-hour shift schedules during our normal business hours of 8:00 am - 5:00 pm PST. It may be necessary, given the business need, to work occasional overtime or weekends. We offer 4 weeks of on-the-job training. The hours of training will be aligned with your schedule. You'll enjoy the flexibility to telecommute from anywhere within the U.S. as you take on some tough challenges.

  • In - charge of monitoring / reporting productivity and quality measures of the team
  • Ensure that team members are adequately trained to perform their job

  • High School Diploma / GED
  • Must be 18 years of age OR older
  • 2+ years of experience with working in the healthcare industry
  • 1+ years of experience as a team lead, supervisor, OR manager
  • Experience in working with Quest billing systems (Quest Diagnostics Billing System / Web Based Billing Systems)
  • Intermediate experience with Microsoft Excel (filtering / sorting spreadsheets)
  • Experience with Microsoft Word (creating / editing documents)
  • Ability to work any shift between the hours of 8:00 am - 5:00 pm PST from Monday - Friday including the flexibility to work occasional overtime OR weekends based on business need
  • Experience with insurance eligibility (reviewing and analyzing data files)
  • Experience with Microsoft PowerPoint (navigating and creating presentations)
  • Reside within the Pacific, Mountain, OR Central Time Zone
