About The Position
Join our team as a Billing Specialist at CarePro Health Services in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, where you will play a crucial role in our success. This full-time position is designed for a dependable and detail-oriented individual who is ready to take on a variety of day-to-day billing functions. Your responsibilities will include claim billing and submission, insurance follow-up, claims resolution, charge entry, accounts receivable, and payment posting. You will work Monday through Friday from 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM, in a fast-paced and engaging environment that values teamwork and excellent customer service. As a Billing Specialist, you will be responsible for obtaining physician orders and Certificates of Medical Necessity (CMNs) as needed, ensuring compliance, and logging all relevant details. You will also resolve customer billing-related issues by evaluating concerns and coordinating resolutions to ensure service recovery. Your role will require you to accurately enter daily intake of insurance payments, identify refunds and write-offs, and audit patient files for accuracy. Additionally, you will perform advanced file maintenance on patient records and the information system, and communicate effectively with customers, doctors' offices, and insurance companies to ensure appropriate payment for products and services provided.
