About The Position

The Accounting Quality Control Specialist plays a critical role in ensuring the accuracy, integrity, and compliance of financial statements (invoices) within the organization. This position involves meticulous review and evaluation. The specialist works closely with the team to identify discrepancies, implement corrective actions, and maintain high standards of financial accuracy and regulatory compliance.

Requirements

2 years of billing/accounting experience
Strong communication, problem solving, critical thinking, and analytical skills
Proficiency in Google Workspace, Microsoft Office including Excel, Word, Outlook, and video conferencing programs
Must have attention to detail with an eye for accuracy, and is self-motivated and organized
Must be able to remain in a stationary position for prolonged periods of time
Demonstrate high ethical standards and confidentiality, be self-motivated with strong initiative, work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, and effectively manage multiple tasks while adapting to changing priorities.

Nice To Haves

Experience in the construction industry or flooring is preferred

Responsibilities

Process PDF Invoices
Review order reports throughout the month to close by Month's end.
Properly escalate and rush invoices on a case-by-case basis.
Create credit memos upon request.
Investigate issues with current and already closed invoices with other departments.
Record all issues encountered to help each branch.
Other administrative duties as assigned.
